That means you can still leisurely schedule your FastPass picks for your trip, you just don’t have to get up at the crack of dawn to do so. The good news is that the vast majority of other attractions are still available at the 60 or even 30-day marks. All other must be second tier attractions. Please note this is only true for a very small number of rides, including Slinky Dog, Flight of Passage and the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. Epcot’s first tier of attractions only allows users to select one of the attractions for a FastPass. In fact, unless you’re planning to visit the parks for four or more days, you may not be able to secure a FastPass selection for some attractions at the 60-day mark anyway. New rooms means more competition for the same limited number of FastPass options. For almost any group, the highest priority FastPass+ in the Magic Kingdom should be Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. The park where that strategy really comes into conflict sometimes is the Magic Kingdom. The company also opened a new hotel tower and has plans to add more rooms later this year. When I think about a FastPass+ strategy it really has two components: 1) what do I want to do and 2) what will have the longest waits. Disney extended its 60-day FastPass benefit to multiple non-Disney hotels this year. One final reason it’s difficult to assess the value of a FastPass at Disney World in 2019 is the increased amount of competition for the most popular attractions.
